After thinking about it and planning for a long time, I am now offering cooking and baking classes in the St. Louis area. I have taught baking classes in the past, and I loved it. I have such fun sharing what I know about working in the kitchen. I believe that anyone can cook, with a little help and confidence building. You don’t need a gourmet kitchen or fancy tools to produce fabulous, home cooked meals and baked goods.
Classes will be hands-on, participation classes. The best way to learn is by doing, so students and teacher alike will get their hands and aprons messy. And, of course, we will get to sample the fruits of our labors during class.
I am also launching my classes at a vendor and craft fair at my church tonight. If you are in town, come out and see me (and the other vendors too!). I am hoping there will be enough interest to fill my calendar. At the very least I will maybe get a few more blog followers.
If you live in the St. Louis area, check out the new class list tab at the top of the page and see if something strikes your fancy. All skill levels are welcome – anyone from the novice who doesn’t cook at all to the seasoned cook that wants to branch out into a new aspect of cooking or baking. I am always open to new suggestions; so be sure to let me know what classes you would like to see. And I am always willing to customize classes to students’ needs – contact me and we will talk.
